Hidden Ibiza Benirras Beach

#5 Sunset Drummers at Benirras Beach

Benirras beach has long been a magnet for hippy travelers and free spirits and the market here on a Sunday attracts visitors from all over the island.

At sunset a troupe of drummers plays while the sun goes  down which creates a hypnotic energy in the crowd while you watch the sunset sink below the horizon.

What started as a small hippy ritual on a Sunday has grown to become a major tourist attraction so we would recommend its best to visit out of high season and arrive early to find a good parking space!

#4 Hike up Dalt Villa

A trip to Ibiza wouldn't be complete with a trip to Ibiza Town to explore Dalt Villa. Entrance to the castle is completely free and you can hike to the top of the castle to get a beautiful view of the harbour and the city below.

A great way to spend the day if the weather isn't great the cobbled streets of Ibiza Town are lined with boutique shops, bars and cafe's to keep you occupied on a rainy day.

#3 Go Cliff Jumping

For those seeking an adrenaline rush there are countless places around the island where you can get a thrill for free by jumping into the big blue. There are some great safe spots at Calla Bassa, Cala Salada and Punta Galera to name just a few but be sure to check with locals first that you are jumping in a safe place!

If you would feel more confident going cliff jumping as part of an organised excursion then you can book on to one of our scheduled tours, where we provide all the safety equipment and instruction on safe cliff jumping practices.

#2 Explore the Lost Ruins of Atlantis

Down on the other side of the Es Vedra watch tower lies an ancient quarry where they cut the blocks to build the tower above. The locals call this place Atlantis where the square steps cut out of the rock look like ancient ruins and form a natural pool where you can dip in for a swim to cool down from the hike.

Be warned that the hike is not for the faint hearted and that going down is much easier than going back up again! So make sure that you wear suitable footwear and take plenty of water with you!

#1 Watch the Sunset at Es Vedra

The island of Es Vedra is the 3rd most magnetic place on earth and rumored to be the home of the Sirens from Greek mythology. Some people believe the islands magnetism is what gives Ibiza it's undeniable energy. Despite being the most magnificent view on the island not many visitors make the trip to the remote view point for sunset which makes it even more special.

You can get a taxi to Es Vedra for between 30-40 euros depending where you are staying on the Island or if you would rather go as part of an organised trip we offer guided excursions which end with the sunset at Es Vedra with bottomless champagne, tapas and live music!
